Holiday Tours by Donation at Chiefswood and Ruthven Park
Guided holiday tours of Chiefswood and Ruthven Park, two historic homes decorated for the season, with admission by food-bank donation.
Chiefswood, the 1850s Six Nations home of the Johnson family and birthplace of poet E. Pauline Johnson, is decorated in Victorian holiday style for guided tours, with children's activities, sugar cookies and seasonal drinks. On the same day, Ruthven Park in Cayuga offers its own holiday tours. Tours run on the hour from 11 am to 4 pm, and admission is a 'give what you can' food donation per family at each site. Drop-ins are welcome.
